“Let’s Go!” Summer Camps

Summer is a time for exploration and discovery, when learning and play go hand-in-hand! Join us this summer for a passport to fun experiences tailored to youth living with unique developmental profiles.

Led by trained, full-time CLU paraprofessional staff, “Let’s Go!” camp sessions are structured around thematic art, music, cooking, science, and community field trip activities.  This summer’s themes include:

  • Shark Week (July 27th – July 30th 2020)
  • Around the World in 4 Days (August 3rd – August 6th 2020)
  • Biomes: Rainforests, Oceans and Deserts (August 10th – August 13th 2020)

Infused throughout each camp activity is a focus on the joy of making friends, developing empathy, responsibility and respect, and learning skills to share our world with others. We also create opportunities for campers to:

  • build social skills, and
  • practice executive functioning skills (i.e., effective planning, time management and decision making).

Camps are open to all children regardless of their registered school and are an especially good match for youth 7 – 15 years of age.

Camps sessions are held 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday.  Pick up and drop off are at CLU.
