DESCRIPTION:We welcome CLU families and friends to join us on Friday\, June 9th\, as we gather to celebrate the close of the 2016 – 2017 school year.  This year’s celebration is filled with new activities and a catered lunch will be available for purchase. \nYou’re welcome to stay for all of the following or come when you are able: \n\n10:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. – Come see our campus in action! \n\nCome try out a CLU Robotics build\, appreciate student Art Expressions and AAYF projects\, browse student photography\, sign-up for “no cost” fundraisers\, and pick-up your student’s copy(s) of the 2016 -2017 CLU yearbook.\n\n\n11:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – Student Awards and Graduation Recognition\n11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – CLU Student Talent Show\n12:00 p.m. – 12:45 p.m. – Catered Taco Lunch \n\nIncludes a chicken\, carnitas (pork)\, al pastor\, or asada (beef) taco plate\, rice\, beans\, salad\, chips & salsa and a drink.  Gluten-free corn tortillas will be available.\n$15 / family (up to 4 plates) or $5 / individual\nSkip the line and pre-pay via cash or check (made payable to CLU) by Thursday\, June 8th. An envelope with your tickets will be available for pick-up on Friday\, June 9th\, between 10:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.\nDay of purchases will be cash only.\nFor those with dietary considerations\, outside food items are welcome.\n\n\n12:45 p.m. – Parents collect student artwork and lost/found items\n1:00 p.m. – Dismissal \n\n\n

Students will use a neutral hue paper and create a drawing of their choice of either a pelican or flamingo using a drawing pencil\, charcoal pencil and finally pastels in select colors. \nProject created by Jake Tedesco \nParents: We encourage sending students in “art friendly” clothing and will have smocks available to students should they wish to wear one.
