Kelly J. Bryant is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist, with 15 years experience providing therapeutic services to individuals from ages 9 months to 22 years. She has a wealth of knowledge with variety of disorders, ranging in severity. Kelly has provided services in the school, home, and clinical settings. She obtained a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Speech Pathology from Grambling State University and later; obtained Masters of Science degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences from California State University at Northridge. Kelly also possesses a certification in relationship-based techniques from the ICDL-DIR Institute, which is helpful in facilitating engagement with persons experiencing difficulty establishing and maintaining relationships with others. She utilizes her expertise to consult with teachers, parents, and other professionals to enhance students’ communicative skill so they may better access their academic curriculum, demonstrate self-advocating skills when necessary, and ultimately form healthy peer and adult relationships. Kelly possesses a firm belief that communication is unique to the person; an avenue of individual expression. With this understanding, her mission is to assist individuals to realize their individual communicative style so they may successfully convey their ideas as well as comprehend the ideas of others; in their home, school, and surrounding community.
