Dr. Anderson is a licensed clinical psychologist. She received her doctorate degree from Pepperdine University and completed her clinical internship at the Veterans Administration. As a psychologist at the Child & Family Development Center at St. Johns Health Center, she provided clinical services to children, adolescents and families as well as serving as a consultant to clinical teams focused on Attention and Learning Disorders, Family Issues, Substance Abuse, Dual Diagnosis and Child Abuse. She has both inpatient as well as outpatient experience.
Currently, Dr. Anderson provides therapeutic services to individual students, parents and families at CLU as well as consultation to CLU staff. She also facilitates an adolescent group that seeks to improve social communication skills. Dr. Anderson incorporates a developmental focus when working with students, ensuring special emphasis on transitional periods as the student progresses through school.
She maintains a private practice in Torrance working with adolescents, young adults, families and adults.
